We’re so excited about the fresh, elevated fall menu he’s about to roll out. In this ever-changing climate, we pride ourselves on remaining Devoted to the Craft. Providing our guests with the same passion for hospitality and quality ingredients you’ve come to know and love. 

Chef Gerwig has had the opportunity to work for several fine dining establishments throughout the United States and has played an impactful role at each location. Throughout his career, he has been an Executive Chef for Searsucker in San Diego, and The Village idiot and the Black Cat in LA, and now as the Executive Chef for  UNION Kitchen & Tap Gaslamp. He has played an integral part in the opening of a location, menu creation, restaurant operations, and is incredibly passionate about culinary arts. Chef Gerwig is no stranger to the industry and the UNION family is thrilled to have him on board!
